Margaret Ann has been a care home manager for over 30 years, she takes great pride in supporting both residents and staff to a very high standard. Margaret has excellent interpersonal skills and is extremely patient, caring and resilient. Encouraging staff to learn and grow their skills and experience, which results in improved person centred care for the communities in our care home. As a home manager, we are supported and encouraged to grow and be the best we can be.
Pamela has a vast experience of business administration and customer service, her previous post was in a large care home where she gained great learning experiences which will benefit her new role at Oakbank Care Home. Pamela is a positive and productive employee, supporting management and building an excellent reputation for the care home.
Roberta has been a nurse for over 30 years and has worked in the NHS and in the private sector. Roberta enjoys the variety of her role at Oakbank and strives to support the team to provide the best person-centred care for our residents.
Mel is currently completing her SVQ level 3 and will continue this at Oakbank Care Home. She loves to learn new skills and improve her knowledge. Mel works as part of a team and learns from the staff who have more experience and knowledge.
Amina has been a carer for many years and has just recently qualified as a nurse, and is looking forward to being a part of the Oakbank team.
Leigh has been a nurse for over 35 years and is looking forward to working alongside the staff team and getting to know the residents.
Flor is from the Philippines and has a lot of experience working in the care field, she loves to sing and dance.
Jess moved to Scotland from the Philippines in July and is getting used to the cold weather, Jess is enjoying being a carer and doing lots of different training.
Tobi has worked in care for many years and is keen to share her knowledge with her Oakbank colleagues.
Leigha hasn’t worked in care before but has taken to it like a swan to water, Leigha likes to wind down by catching up on all the soaps
Chole joined Oakbank as a housekeeper and was recently successful in her application to be a carer. Chloe is looking forward to learning from her colleagues and progressing in her role as a carer at Oakbank.
Nat really enjoys her role as a carer and being part of the Oakbank team, her favourite part of the role is being a keyworker and supporting the person centred care to our residents.
Nicola is looking forward to getting to know the residents and the team at Oakbank.
Julie is our Wellbeing Manager and with over 10 years of experience, she has great skills and experience in each different service. She is very passionate about providing meaningful activities that the residents enjoy and want to participate in, from arts and crafts, to performing in our own pantomime the list is not exhaustive. Julie is here to listen to the residents and facilitate their wants and wishes to the best of her abilities liaising with staff and families to gain their support and commitment to make things happen.
Karlene has lots of experience in the care sector and is passionate about ensuring that Oakbank always looks its best.
Caroline is part of the housekeeping team and is dedicated to maintaining high standards of the home.
Rhianna is part of the housekeeping team and is dedicated in keeping up the high standards of cleanliness at Oakbank.
John has many skills and experience on all areas of maintaining a care home, he strives to ensure that all legislation and good practice is implemented, taking pride in completing this in a detailed and accurate manner. John enjoys chatting to the residents and completing tasks to make their stay more personal and their rooms individual to them. He also likes to be apart of the activities and support the team with any task they require, building sets, driving and ensuring that we work as part of the team.
Neil has been a chef for over twenty years, he has worked in many different places, gaining experience in many areas of cooking. Neil is passionate about providing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.
