Oakbank Care Home Residents Enjoy Special Visit To Tullibardine Distillery

Residents from Oakbank Care Home, Crieff, recently enjoyed a memorable men's outing to the renowned Tullibardine Distillery, Auchterarder, a visit that proved especially meaningful for one gentleman in particular.
Donnie, a resident at Oakbank Care, spent many happy years working at the distillery as a skilled cask maker. He often shares fond memories of his time there, and speaking about his work always brings a smile to his face.
The trip was made possible with the support of Oakbank's team, accompanied by Maintenance Manager John and staff members Aidan, Eric and Paul accompanied the residents to provide support throughout the day.

All the residents said they had a fantastic time and would love to return in the future.
To make the experience even more special, the team at Oakbank Care Home created a personalised photo book for Donnie following the visit, filled with pictures from his time of employment there which was provided by the distillery and memories from the visit itself. He was delighted with the thoughtful gift and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Experiences like this highlights Oakbank Care Home's commitment to meaningful activities that celebrate residents' life stories, promote wellbeing and create lasting memories.
