Oakbank’s Newly Appointed Home Manager
Margaret Ann Gavin is the new Home Manager at Oakbank Care Home in Crieff, she used to manage the previous care home, Ancaster House which was originally on this site before it got closed down and demolished. It has been now been replaced with our luxurious, purpose built care home which has been designed with our residents in mind.
Margaret Ann has a wealth of experience which has allowed her to develop her skills further, improving her knowledge, allowing her to grow as a leader and manager, she is very much looking forward to managing our beautiful new care home.
Margaret Ann has a passion for providing older people with personalised care, she is driven and conscientious working to ensure the rest of the staff are respected and appreciated and residents are happy and fulfilled.
With Margaret Ann working in previous services its enabled her to adapt quickly in learning about the staff, working alongside one another and how she can support them, working as a part of the team, listening and understanding their individual needs.
Margaret Ann enjoys learning and being challenged to ensure that our services improve and provide the best care for our residents, one thing Margaret Ann loves about her job is how its allowed her to meet so many different people and learn about how different everyone is.
Margaret Ann states "I'm looking forward to returning to Crieff, meeting new people and building relationships with the community, involving many of the local services whilst being part of the service we will provide. I recently bumped into 'Murphy' the handsome Clydesdale, who let me know he cannot wait to visit Oakbank Care Home and meet with the residents and staff."
